Q- The Taster's Choice soap opera commercials were very 
amusing. However, I missed the results  of the "lucky groom" 
contest published in the Feb. 1998 issue of "Soap Opera 
Digest." 

Did she choose the new boyfriend or stay with her son's 
father, Andrew?

A- The "lovely female stranger," who Nestles never named in 
its popular 13-episode  commercial, chose handsome neighbor 
Michael for her undying love. 

The relationship between the sophisticated couple began 
brewing in November 1990 when the  woman knocked on a 
neighboring apartment door to borrow a jar of instant 
coffee. 

Nestles could not provide the number of people who voted for 
either Michael or Andrew through Taster's Choice 
manufacturer's coupons. The couple were played by actors 
Sharon Maughan and Tony Head.
