The film will feature Rachel Hunter, Jamie Presley, Cathy Moriarty, Alicia Donovan, Jordan Ladd, Maria Conchita Alonso and Thomas Calabro. The script was written by Harvey Frost, who adapted John Kane's book. As has been a tradition for several years, August and September are again a time for television movies. No less than 13 television movies were in Vancouver in August or early September. One of the busier companies was Shavick Entertainment, which was responsible for two shows, Best Actress and Ice Angel. Shavick and Lynn Dugan were the executive producers on the former with Shawn Williamson producing, Harvey Frost directing and Dan Clarke the production manager. Joey Setter was the production coordinator and Mary Jo Beirnes was the locations manager.
