Stage play by Georg Büchner, in a version by Howard Brenton. Peter Gill's production at the Olivier Theatre (National Theatre), London, opened 21 July 1982. Anthony Head's first National Theatre appearance.

Cast: Brian Cox (Danton); John Normington (Robespierre); Patrick Drury (Saint-Just); Paul Moriarty (Lacroix); Frances Viner (Marion); Elizabeth Bell, Anthony Higgins, Tom Georgeson; Anthony Head (Laflotte).
